hello all, sorry if this has been asked a fair few times already but im just seeking some clarification, would something like my usb-c dock (not thunderbolt) with display outputs and ethernet and shit work at all at this stage? I had a look at the feature support list and the closest thing i could find to it was just usb 3.0 which is fine, im not

the hdmi port on the dock is using the macbooks native usb-c video output, the displayport ports use displaylink is my understanding

i may just wait for dp alt mode to be supported, appears to be WIP which is a good sign. I would rather have at least one native display output as i am still fairly underwhelmed with the performance of displaylink (even though it has gotten a lot better the past year)

marcan: I tried using wayland, but I couldn't get scaling to look decent, everything was very blurry so I resorted back into the X11. But I guess that's not really related to asahi, but rather state of HiDPI on Linux in general

also I have tried using my tb dock, and the only thing that seems to work is charge, no video signal (as expected), and no USB ports (As expected, but I had hope haha).
