<steev> bamse: yes, it gets rid of the message
<steev> I haven’t had a chance to send any emails because of my machine with my email on it is buried under rpis that are testing things
<bamse> steev: okay, if you get a chance...your reply would act as a ping on the thread, so that would be nice
<steev> Will do as soon as i get home from the dentist, after my 1:1 with my boss :D
<bamse> what a day :)
<steev> full of excitement
<steev> bamse: do we have a timeframe on the interconnect fixes?
<bamse> steev: 2:45pm perhaps...
<steev> oh nice

<bamse> steev: got caught up on the way...but got it split up and on the list
<bamse> steev: that said, in my tree i still comment out the sync_state callback in the sc8180x interconnect driver...i think because i was missing some interconnect vote from usb or something
<steev> i'll give it a whirl
<steev> worst case, it still doesn't work :D

<steev> bamse: so, this does allow it to boot, however, everything is still deferred
<steev> oh wait, wtf
<steev> for some reason i had SC8180X's interconnect option disabled, re-enabling
<steev> drivers/interconnect/qcom/sc8180x.c:526:16: warning: initialization discards ‘const’ qualifier from pointer target type [-Wdiscarded-qualifiers]
<steev> 526 | .bcms = qup_virt_bcms,
<bamse> hmm, why don't i get that here...
<steev> honestly, might be me screwing up the patching
<steev> since i was applying them to 5.18.0-rc5 and not next - i should definitely try next since they applied cleanly there
<bamse> ahh, yeah there are some const patches from krzk that might have landed inbetween
<bamse> sent you a patch 5/4 as well now, to make it more readable :)
<steev> i'll give this stuff a whirl on top of next, i think
<steev> on 5.18 it panics with interconnect enabled
