03:16 <chadmed> yeah thats what i mean, i updated my kernel and rebuilt the initramfs and it just exploded again in the same way. the modules were definitely in the initramfs but it just would not load them and refused to continue booting

13:58 <Glanzmann> chadmed_: For Debian I had the same issue. Saw nothing beyond grub efi. The issue for me was that with the default asahi config it was using zstd compressed modules that was confusing the initramfs utility of Debian. As a result the initrd was empty and no display output. After I changed the module compression to none, it worked for me.
