hmmm upon further investigating the plasma black panel issue with colour management on plasma 6, it seems somewhat related to panel translucence

forcing all panels to opaque prevents it from happening, even in krunner... until you hover over a system tray item

chadmed_: oh, I assumed this might be an issue with my config and didn't have a chance to investigate. the panels fix themself when you switch to a different virtual desktop

jannau: yeah its also sufficient to lock and unlock the session

still annoying as heck, and the last amd64 machine with any sort of linux on it i had access to decided to go to silicon heaven last week so i cant even test if it's an us problem or plasma problem

my bet would be a plasma problem on asahi
