<daniels> emersion: yeah, I was thinking about that but I don't think the backtrace is rich enough for what I need; if it just gives me method signatures then that's unhelpful, because I need to see local variables as well
<daniels> (i.e. which repo is the one that poisons everything ...)
<daniels> have you ever used 'delve'?
<emersion> yes, but gdb can debug Go programs as well
<emersion> with the usual stuff you'd expect
<emersion> e.g. `bt full` and `info locals`
<daniels> emersion: neato, and do I need to do anything equivalent to installing dbginfo for C libs, or is Go's inbuilt reflection enough that I can just gdb -p $foo?

<emersion> daniels: hm, no idea what Debian is doing here
<emersion> it probably works the same as C
<emersion> there are DWARF debug sections in executables it relies on

<MrCooper> gst-htz-2 taking over an hour to download the Mesa cache tarball: https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/-/jobs/17196186
<MrCooper> __tim: gst-htz-1-windows seems to be having issues as well: https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/-/jobs/17196221
<__tim> git infra is unwell I think
<MrCooper> or could just be the same appalling TCP throughput as seen on gst-htz-2 (and -3 as well)?
<__tim> could be, or a combination of both

<daniels> downloading the tarball from MinIO has nothing to do with one of the git servers not wanting to serve requests
<tchar> it seems remote-https is a little upset too, this isn't making progress here: git clone https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/hakzsam/fossils-db.git
<tchar> but the ssh endpoint works fine

<bentiss> daniels: happy new year BTW :) besides staring at the code, is there anything I can do tomorrow? (I'm back FWIW)
<bentiss> daniels: I was thinking at looking if gitaly-1 was now in a better shape by migrating back some repos, and if so, maybe migrate like xorg and gstreamer pools to see which one between gitaly-1 and gitaly-3 is behaving badly then
