<hexloc> Sorry if this is the wrong channel but i'm trying to make a small native application for Haiku and need the user to fill in a password, does anyone know if there's a version of BTextControl that hides the password from the user (by e.g. showing characters in the form of dots)
<hexloc> Can't seem to find something like that in the api docs
<ilzu[m]> Use BTextControl::TextView to get the underlying BTextView, and then use BTextView::HideTyping. See for exampe WebPositive's AuthenticationPanel class (https://git.haiku-os.org/haiku/tree/src/apps/webpositive/AuthenticationPanel.cpp)
<hexloc> yep thanks, that worked!
