<erlehmann> it seems that minetests OGLES2 renderer uses more than the guaranteed minimum of instructions for some shader stuff
<erlehmann> sfan5 (a minetest developer) maintains that no one is willing to put in the work of fixing this

<enunes> erlehmann: what I can suggest is that you can capture the shaders with https://docs.mesa3d.org/shading.html#capturing-shaders and take a look at which is the most complicated one to suggest them a fix
<enunes> it might be that they are just doing something careless that could be simplified
<enunes> you can also try to use the shader-db tool referenced there as a quicker development tool to check for shader compilation results rather than running the entire application
