<gamiee> Hello, probably not exactly correct channel, but I will try. I'm using H3 with Lima, kmscube works fine, but for some reason, I'm not able to get Xorg working. It always fails that it can't find display. Any ideas where could be an issue? Xorg log: https://paste.debian.net/1258299/

<gamiee> I noticed I miss glamor, but even with glamor, still "no screens found" :/
<gamiee> there seems to be some modesetting issue
<gamiee> Okay, it works now, I needed to force to use Xorg /dev/dri/card1 . I wonder how is possible that before it worked just fine... Also, what card0 is then...
<enunes> gamiee: I'm not sure about your soc but it's possible to be this problem https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/xorg/xserver/-/merge_requests/481#note_1569958 ?
<gamiee> enunes: exactly this seems to be problem. For some reason, on my previous build based on older kernel (v5.12), Xorg worked just fine. Now I need to specify "kmsdev" option to "/dev/dri/card1", as card0 is DE
<gamiee> (so I guess, on that old kernel, card0 was lima and card1 DE, so it was OK)
<enunes> also linux 6.0 has some breakage/performance regression, I dont know if it affects your soc but I posted a patch today to try to fix that
<gamiee> enunes: how can I test if I have that regression please?
<enunes> in my tested soc even kmscube would drop to something like 15 fps and a lot of things were broken, but back to normal with linux 5.19
<gamiee> Rendered 120 frames in 2.000003 sec (59.999916 fps)
<gamiee> Seems OK on Allwinner H3.

<jernej> gamiee: usual trick is to make display driver built in (=y) and lima as a module (=m), that way display driver will surely load before lima
<jernej> well, display driver and all dependencies
