uis: the datasheet doesn't mention anything about PP, so these are GP formats. PP likely has different enums

and unlike GP, PP inputs are specified in RSW (essentially in command stream) which isn't documented in any open docs

but anyway, I tried using fp16 for mediump varyings and it doesn't have any measurable perfomance difference, likely due to alignment requirements
