I'm glad you're still around :)
<jenneron[m]>
ellyq: the lazor i'm going to send was a non-modem variant which i replaced with modem motherboard a while back. i remember that you need to get out the motherboard to put sim card in because there is no hole for it in case... what i don't remember is how i solved the antenna problem or whether i did it at all
<jenneron[m]>
i will send non-modem motherboard as well if i find it
<jenneron[m]>
it's currently used by pmOS and fedora i think
<jenneron[m]>
it really needs openrc and systemd services to be included in the repo, maybe some Makefile to install it
<jenneron[m]>
also, systemd variant of packaging would be needed for pmOS
<weirdtreething[m]>
<jenneron[m]> "it really needs openrc and..." <- we have a downstream systemd service for a fedora-based distro that i packaged it in
<weirdtreething[m]>
except the way i did it wont work for pnos
<ellyq>
jenneron[m]: sure, i'll look into the repo ownership
<jenneron[m]>
ellyq: they couldn't send it to non-German phone number
<jenneron[m]>
they also said there will be a 16 euro tax, maybe more after customs inspection
<ellyq>
jenneron[m]: that's fine
<ellyq>
should i provide a German phone number?
<jenneron[m]>
yes
<ellyq>
(though it's odd, AliExpress doesn't have any issues with that)
<jenneron[m]>
i can probably send it without tax, but it would take 1-2 months
<ellyq>
eh it's fine
<ellyq>
jenneron[m]: i sent you another mail with German phone number
