macromorgan: I know it's probably RK week for you ;-), but did you start already on the PWM for H616 front? I wanted to have a look at this, since also the D1/T113 PWM patch seems to be stuck.
<macromorgan>
okay, I'll try to take a look in the next day or two
<macromorgan>
no, honestly I'm trying to make sense of the Android/U-Boot boot flow right now
<macromorgan>
I have a series of devices I want to boot AOSP 14, they're fully mainline supported but I can't even get a damn android boot image to work...
<macromorgan>
I just got another device in the mail yesterday that also uses the H700, so that's one more for the pile :-)

apritzel: from what I see, D1 PWM should be easy to get into final form
<apritzel>
jernej: wasn't there quite some comments on the last post, from the PWM maintainer? Or were those already addressed?
<jernej>
adding H616 support to that is quite annoying, I just hacked register and bit values for H616 only support
<apritzel>
I have a clean solution for at least one part of that problem
<jernej>
it's been a while since I took a look at comments, but I don't recall any showstoppers
<jernej>
oh, nice
<jernej>
in any case, it's been so long that new version would be good, if only to continue discussion
<apritzel>
so it looked quiet for a while, but I see quite some comments from Uwe and Philipp on v8 (which would be the last published version?)

gnarface: ah, thanks for the heads up, I made a patch for that lately, but totally forgot about it
<apritzel>
the driver correctly treats that regulator as optional (as described by the binding), but the lower level of the devfree OPP code didn't get the memo, and thus output that message
<apritzel>
I just need to find that patch now ...
