if someone knows why my "Modules linked in:" showes nothing
<
dr_shui[m]>
It used to be
<
dr_shui[m]>
but now
<
dr_shui[m]>
i'm sure that wcnss config is opened but nothing loaded in dmesg
<
dr_shui[m]>
maybe i should compile wcnss modules as [=y] than [=M] ?
<
dr_shui[m]>
I made wcnss modules as [=y] not [=M] and can't load firmwares🥲
<
barni2000[m]>
install msm-firmware-loader
<
barni2000[m]>
for me usb not working athm
<
barni2000[m]>
s/athm/atm/
<
dr_shui[m]>
i found my lsmod command returns empty, that causes my modules didn't work
<
dr_shui[m]>
but why
<
barni2000[m]>
is everything compiled as a builtin?
<
dr_shui[m]>
no, and i found my (uname -r) = 6.6.0-umeko-compile-rv5, but ls /lib/modules/ shows 6.6.0-umeko-compile-rv5-gffe6e7e84d39-dirty
<
dr_shui[m]>
if this diffrence causes ?
<
barni2000[m]>

I'm using make-kpkg to gen kernel .deb and install them. but something was wrong that $(uname -r) not match my /lib/modules
<
dr_shui[m]>
caused modprobe can't found modules
<
dr_shui[m]>
I'm finding solutions
<
barni2000[m]>
move the modules dir to where you need
<
dr_shui[m]>
barni2000[m]: I tried rename /lib/modules/xxxx to match my uname -r, but not working
<
dr_shui[m]>
which branch are you using?
<
barni2000[m]>
msm89x7/6.6
<
barni2000[m]>
but maybe 6.6-develop better a bit
<
dr_shui[m]>
<dr_shui[m]> "I tried rename /lib/modules/xxxx..." <- maybe my workspace was broken, I'm trying git clone a new one

It works! Thanks !!

<
dr_shui[m]>

<
dr_shui[m]>
it‘s ft5x06, maybe easy to work?
<
dr_shui[m]>
barni2000: is santoni uses the same touchscreen node with ugg-lite or near?
<
barni2000[m]>
ugglite has goodix gt917d org 911
<
barni2000[m]>
s/org/or/
<
barni2000[m]>
But adding ft is also easy
<
dr_shui[m]>
oh, that's very hard to me🫠, but i'd like to try it ! what should i start first ?
<
barni2000[m]>
You will need set the properties from downstream
