As i wrote before it should work, it is working on my device. The question is are you using wpa_supplicant or iwd and did you tried with nmtui?
<x0-9-f[m]>
I'm using wpa_supplicant, but seems it'is working when I'm using user interface: console and not when user interface is none, seems strange. I tried config it with nmtui but connecting hung and didn't connect. but then I use wpa_supplicant with conf it is working. So I need mimimal installation but with wpa_supplicant. You said msm-firmware-loader respons for loading firmware how can I debug it? I see nothing in logs and dmesg
<x0-9-f[m]>
one time i've got in dmesg "WCN v2.0 RadioPhy vUnknown with 19.2MHz XO" and in that time wifi was working, but now there is no this message and wifi isn't working

<x0-9-f[m]> "I'm using wpa_supplicant, but..." <- you do realize none is basically for testing right
<hacker420[m]>
as in CI testing images
<hacker420[m]>
it omits a bunch of packages
<hacker420[m]>
it isn't meant for general use

none doesn't install NetworkManager.
<fossdd[m]>
For example, I use 'none' on my server and install ifupdown-ng
<hacker420[m]>
> none literally is a minimal environment with none of the UIs. console also has some extra packages such as NetworkManager included.
<fossdd[m]>
Use console if you want to have a console working out-of-the-box
<hacker420[m]>
yeah
<hacker420[m]>
use none if you want to make the image yourself
<hacker420[m]>
along with your preferred networking stack
<x0-9-f[m]>
fossdd[m]: yes! I need it like server
<hacker420[m]>
then why not just use console
<x0-9-f[m]>
for the clarifying, I've installed user interface: none and wpa_supplicant, created wpa_supplicant.conf and tried start /sbin/wpa_supplicant -Dnl80211,wext -iwlan0 -c/etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf and it fals
<hacker420[m]>
why do I feel like the firmware didn't install or something
<hacker420[m]>
or you are missing some module/service
<x0-9-f[m]>
<hacker420[m]> "why do I feel like the firmware..." <- yeah I feel same. but I've change nothing just init and install.
<x0-9-f[m]>
s/change/changed/
<hacker420[m]>
except it might want something that console installs
<hacker420[m]>
what do you even want to serve there?
<x0-9-f[m]>
docker
<x0-9-f[m]>
homeassistant
<x0-9-f[m]>
I've installed downstream but kernel 3.18 doesn't support overlay2, storeage consume too much space
<barni2000[m]>
check for remoteproc errors but if you see the interface in rfkill firmware is loaded fine
<barni2000[m]>
you could try reload wcn36xx module
<barni2000[m]>
check if the wpa_supplicant service is started
<x0-9-f[m]>
<barni2000[m]> "fastboot flash boot lk2nd-msm89..." <- done, but now it hung on mi bootscreen and doesn't boot
<x0-9-f[m]>
oh wrong version i flash 8953
<x0-9-f[m]>
yehaaa it's alive
<x0-9-f[m]>
