<MainudeenSumro[m]> Anyone using mainline on their phone?
<ungeskriptet> Some people do
<MainudeenSumro[m]> What's broken?
<ungeskriptet> You asked me that already
<ungeskriptet> You should stop asking so many questions and just see for yourself
<MainudeenSumro[m]> ungeskriptet: Are you David from telegram?
<ungeskriptet> Yes
<MainudeenSumro[m]> Ah , i need to know about rils if people using it on phone instead of a pad
<ungeskriptet[m]> As I said modem should in theory be working. Call audio might be hard to implement

<MainudeenSumro[m]> ungeskriptet[m]: It won't have audio for call?

<MainudeenSumro[m]> I do have audio working in droidian n ut by switching audio policy xml
<ungeskriptet> Droidian and Ubuntu Touch are unfortunately based on downstream, not mainline

<MainudeenSumro[m]> I meant can that xml not help fixing call audio in case it won't work on mainline?
<ungeskriptet> A XML file is not a driver
<MainudeenSumro[m]> I meant data of xml, can that not help fixing mainline driver?
<MainudeenSumro[m]> Or in call audio it require additional driver?
<ungeskriptet> I don't know, I never worked on call audio myself before
<ungeskriptet> Just tryitands.ee

<Zekiu_[m]> Alright, seems like in boot.img there are only kernel and ramdisk, nothing more, in vendor_boot there are: kernel, ramdisk, tags, and dtb offsets, and dtb file itself. So now I either have to: generate a vendor_boot.ing alongside boot.img, or replace the dtb in vendor_boot manually. I actually tried the second option but it still instantly rebooted the device, but I don't know if it's because of not working device tree, or because
<Zekiu_[m]> simply replacing the dtb file doesn't work, I'll have to experiment a little more
<Zekiu_[m]> s/vendor_boot/vendor\_boot/, s/ing/img/, s/vendor_boot/vendor\_boot/
