<niklaskorz> Hi! I've been running Wayland on the proprietary Nvidia drivers for a while now, and in general it works pretty well (compared to before 470). But Nvidia's EGL implementation seems to be pretty incompatible to Mesa's, which most applications have developed against so far. I've read on a blog post by the Zink developers that Zink (OpenGL on Vulkan) runs on Nvidia as well. As Zink is part of Mesa, would that use Mesa'
<niklaskorz> s EGL implementation instead of Nvidia's? Vulkan works pretty well since the last driver update, so running OpenGL on Vulkan might fix some of my issues.
<zmike> it would use mesa's egl, yes
<zmike> you should probably file bugs with nvidia if you're having issues with their driver
<niklaskorz> the bug has already been reported in February, but there's been no recent activity :/
