<jhovold> jglathe_x13s: abby and the wiki are correct about the touchscreen power-on not yet being fixed in mainline
<jhovold> the series you linked to has not been merged and is superceded by:

<jhovold> Here's an updated wip branch for the X13s:
<jhovold> Changes include:
<jhovold> - rework pm8008 camera pmic support
<jhovold> - fix bluetooth NVM configuration parsing
<jhovold> - generalise bluetooth address check
<jhovold> bryanodonoghue: you'll need to update the camera regulator references in your dt patch when rebasing (the labels now match the schematics)
<clover[m]> sorry for late reply this is my mkinitcpio.conf:
<clover[m]> i am still on 6.7.10 though
<jglathe_x13s> :) 6.9.0-rc7 here, was a little unruly at rebase, but seems to work

<steev> jhovold: OVERLAY_FS please (module and default options is fine for my needs)
<pstef_> I can see some progress in the bluetooth land, my Mouse can pair and stay connected (but seems to be ignored, both cursor movement and button presses)
jglathe_volterra has joined #aarch64-laptops
<jglathe_volterra> Hmm I've seen this odd "no I don't care if you press a button" behaviour too, but I guess its not related to BT mouse, more like attaching another pointing device that gets sorta ignored (except for cursor movement)
<jglathe_volterra> Happens sometimes when disabling / re-enabling BT, gets resolved when you use a different pointing device for a focus change
<jglathe_volterra> Ubuntu 24.04, I suspect Gnome...?

<pstef_> here it's Fedora Rawhide with KDE, but I'll test under GNOME

<steev> i don't know where my bluetooth mouse is :(
<jglathe_> just on cue this just happened to me on Volterra. Logitech Mouse with USB dongle. Can't get t reactivated, attaching another one didn't solve it...
<jglathe_> ok appears to be a lot of odd messages in dmesg, GUI hangcheck
<jglathe_> fence errors
