<steev> bamse: applied your take2 stuff on top of rc4 and aside from one patch that had too many changes (applied with patch and then git am --continue) 5.18.0-rc4 seems to work okay so far - https://paste.debian.net/1239348/ - i didn't apply your changes to the defconfig, but i did modify my config but haven't changed that yet
<steev> i even get thermals in bottom now
<bamse> nice
<bamse> can one get bottom to graph the temperatures as well?

<steev> i think it's just name and temp
<steev> there is something about ddrss_sf_tbu not being in the dtsi which, yeah, it isn't
<steev> oh, well let me pull that in too :D
<bamse> not sure why the maintainer hasn't picked that one yet

<steev> bamse: hm, actually i'm locking up after a while, has happened a few times now
<steev> alas, nothing seems to be in the logs for why
<steev> ah, seems to be when i hammer the cpus
<steev> specifically with rust though, because a build of mesa was fine?
<bamse> steev: momentarily, or ending up in reboot?

<bamse> steev: since ~5.18 mine behaves much better...but oddly enough, visiting lenovo.com and looking at the product specification causes the browser to eat up all the memory and if i don't close the tab within ~20 seconds the mouse starts lagging etc and then things grinds to a halt
<steev> not sure what i'm missing here
<steev> i definitely have the mbn file
