<mps> m1n1m4[m]: I found problem and it was all the time in my back brain. problem is udev
<mps> m1n1m4[m]: solution: remove eudev and install libudev-zero
<mps> don't do second part of guide, just first
<mps> (I have to update this guide)
<m1n1m4[m]> Well, GREAT that you found the solution so quick!
<m1n1m4[m]> Just to remember that i had to purge libudev-zero because it was not compatible with:
<m1n1m4[m]> setup-xorg-base script
<m1n1m4[m]> then after purging libudev-zero with apk del, i re-run the setup-xorg-base and there were no problems, all was cool at the end and i proceeded with the guide with success.
<m1n1m4[m]> what you are saying is that at the end of the install i have to purge udev and reinstall libudev-zero, right?
<m1n1m4[m]> ah sorry, i did not see the guide. OK, i get it.
<m1n1m4[m]> will reboot and follow. brb
<mps> yes, I know all the hassle
<mps> you first need to boot to working system, then mount usb root FS
<mps> on working system fetch the libudev-zero and libudev-zero-helper and put them on usb rootFS
<mps> then boot to usb disk
<mps> and do 'apk add --allow libudev-zero*apk libudev-zero-helper*apk"
<mps> replace files with exact names
<mps> apk fetch is command to download pkg
<m1n1m4[m]> no worries, i like to help improving things
<m1n1m4[m]> can i copy the libudev-*apk to the usb? like to etc/apk somewhere? because on the good system i have them already
<mps> you can copy wherever you like, though I usually put these file in /root, i.e. /mnt/root
<m1n1m4[m]> OK the real question would be: where is the folder that apk uses to store the packages?
<mps> apk doesn't store them except if explicitly set
<mps> apk fetch download file to current dir
<m1n1m4[m]> ah
<m1n1m4[m]> gotit!
<m1n1m4[m]> I wish to say that all is working PERFECTLY!!!
