otavio_ is now known as otavio
<otavio> It fails with:
<otavio> error: compile failed!
<otavio> etna_draw_vbo:318: compiled shaders are not okay
<otavio> The device runs 5.4 Linux kernel and mesa 21.2.3
<austriancoder> otavio: what GPU? Most likely that compiled shaders are too big. What application triggers this
<austriancoder> otavio: maybe try ETNA_MESA_DEBUG=nir
<otavio> austriancoder: i.MX6Quad

<cphealy> i.MX6q with Vivante GC2000 is limited to 512 instruction shaders IIRC. This was resolved with the i.MX6qp and GC3000 where there is no such limit.
<marex> hmmm, why would dEQP-GLES2.functional.texture.vertex.2d.filtering.nearest_nearest_clamp fails with ETNA_MESA_DEBUG=nir and not with ETNA_MESA_DEBUG=nir,flush_all ?
<marex> austriancoder: hi, what am I looking for if the flush "fixes" the nearest test ? ^
<austriancoder> marex: hmm.. maybe we are missing to set a dirty bit somewhere.
<otavio> austriancoder: cphealy: we'll check it on monday and see if their example works
