<austriancoder> tomeu: from what I can tell.. you never set dst.use for store instructions. There are different encodings for instructions types. Can you provide me the opencl kernel where you used to set dst.use? I really hope to find some time for my isaspec work where all of this special encoding thing is handled already.

<tomeu> austriancoder: in this kernel, the local stores have dst.use set: https://paste.debian.net/1267582/
<tomeu> while the globals don't

<tomeu> ah, so dst.use in store intructions is something else?
<mntirc> yesterday i played with GNOME on imx8mq and reliably had mmu faults when running minetest. does it make sense to report these somewhere?
<austriancoder> tomeu: it could but I do not even see dst.use (bit 12 in word 0) set with that shader an any store instruction
<austriancoder> mntirc: https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/-/issues with an apitrace (as easy reproducer) would be nice
<mntirc> austriancoder: ok, lets see if i can catch it on apitrace
