I'm maintaining the script that submits jobs from Mesa CI to LAVA lima farm, and I have been struggling with some LAVA issues related to DUT terminal tracing. The Collabora's farm applied a patch that fixed a good part of the issue but still needs to be upstream.

gallo[m]: hi, I maintain the LAVA lima farm

gallo[m]: I'm not too familiar with its internals though; is this something I can get with a LAVA update on debian? or do I need to patch/rebuild LAVA? or is it something I can apply as a "hotfix" to the installed scripts until the next update is deployed?
<enunes>
if I need to update everything I might need to schedule some maintenance window and take the farm down for a few days I guess, my previous experiences with apt update for the LAVA packages have been mixed
