<tobhe[m]> better now but I need to test again
<MasterDuke> i just did another apt update && upgrade (which didn't find anything to do) and re-ran the distro upgrade, but got the same warning (and then canceled)
<tobhe[m]> the warning might not go away
<tobhe[m]> no idea yet how I could turn that off
<tobhe[m]> but I appreciate it being there for the moment before everything works 100%
<MasterDuke> ah, ok. but the upgrade should go ok regardless? i.e., think there are any updates coming soonish to wait for or should i just pull the trigger now?
<tobhe[m]> testing rn
<tobhe[m]> i'll update mesa once more
<tobhe[m]> the really critical part is at the end where it sometimes wants to remove packages you would rather keep
<tobhe[m]> but it looks like mine just worked without any obvious issues
<tobhe[m]> so mesa update pending but that shouldn't break anything
<MasterDuke> ah. i've always just let it remove what it wants. it looks like doing so should be fine for this upgrade also?
<tobhe[m]> look at the list, if nothing has asahi in the name it is probably fine
<tobhe[m]> nothing critical in there when I just tested
<MasterDuke> cool. i've gotta go afk again, if i don't get to do the upgrade tonight i'll give it a go tomorrow evening
<tobhe[m]> sounds good. I'll write here if there turn out to be any problems
