macc24: congratulations - that sounds very good - looking forward to testing it
<hexdump0815>
macc24: regarding gpu dvfs spam - i think after i commented out the opp table entry and the table itself in the dtb it was calm, but maybe i was just lucky
<macc24>
hexdump0815: i literally now i'm tinkering with opp to make it support multiple regulators
<macc24>
ok it didn't explode when changing frequency. i'll count that as a win
<macc24>
aaaand filesystem is dead :|

has anyone here tried out nilfs2?

macc24: no, but i can really recommend btrfs: very good performance, zstd compression, lots of features and you can check its integrity at bit level at any time as it has cksums for all files which it can recalculate to see if all is ok
<macc24>
hexdump0815: btrfs is not obscure enough
<hexdump0815>
macc24: :)

in a bit of a hackish way
<macc24>
but now gpu freq scaling works \o/
<hexdump0815>
macc24: hey - lots of progress for a single day ...
<macc24>
hexdump0815: hyperfocus goes brrrrr
<macc24>
maybe i can make suspend work too today... i have one hack in mind that might work
<macc24>
also i think i'd need to pull some xhci mtk patches from mailing list, as usb did not like suspend/resume

<steev>
did the linux-msm channel move off freenode?
<steev>
audio broke again *sigh*
<macc24>
steev: broke where?
<steev>
c630
<steev>
it breaks every few kernel releases
<robclark>
there is a #linux-msm (single #) on oftc.. freenode had a temper tantrum and kicked off irccloud users so no idea if there is still a channel on freenode
<steev>
ye, i'm irccloud too, thats why i was asking if someone else knew :P
<steev>
technically, you can point irccloud at the freenode bnc, and they'll let you in, but like you, freenode is dead to me
