ChanServ changed the topic of #aarch64-laptops to: Linux support for AArch64 Laptops (Asus NovaGo TP370QL - HP Envy x2 - Lenovo Mixx 630 - Lenovo Yoga C630)
<bamse> robclark: i'll drop some more stuff into patchworks in the meantime then :)
<robclark> feel free :-)
<steev> bamse: i do... well 5.12... 5.13 is still wonky
<robclark> steev: does `fw_devlink=off` in kernel cmdline make 5.13 less wonky?
<steev> good question, i'll try that in a few days
<bamse> robclark: i tried, and it didn't make a difference for me
<bamse> robclark: ~50% of the time i get a bluescreen when i boot my c630...closing the lid and waiting a while and opening it often "fix" the problem
<bamse> robclark: i.e. doing a suspend/resume cycle
<robclark> hmm, ok.. sc7180 chromebooks are working ok, but maybe something related to bootloader enabled scanout?
<bamse> i don't have any of these problems on the 8cx laptop...
<bamse> so not in itself, but perhaps combined with something else (e.g. the bridge...)
<bamse> or just pure timing differences
<robclark> hmm, could be
<robclark> there is also dsi vs native eDP, so could be dsi specific issue
<bamse> right
