for the wireplumber stuff, it would make sense to have the old asahi-audio be made to depend on 0/0.4 subslot specifically if it breaks for 0.5
<leio>
then we can bump wireplumber in ::gentoo without breaking asahi as portage will hold back the upgrade (at least if asahi-audio VDB is updated for user, which would mean a revbump to ensure I think). It should have had a := dep at the very least before, then it would have be considered for rebuild and then it would have noticed the change in overlay instead of assuming it's all fine to let it upgrade
<leio>
and also held it back, but now needs a revbump to cover it
<leio>
I don't think so, our dependencies are more powerful there and I was talking about something a bit different ;)
<leio>
in Debian as that bug points out, 0.5 isn't getting "uploaded" until everything else is compatible; we can, and my changes are for making sure asahi-audio doesn't break by keeping the upgrade back for asahi users but allowing it for others (provided everything else is ready as well)

ah I see, sorry.

is there any good approach for emulating x64 binaries? I need to run st's stm32cubemx and it seems that the JxBrowser library that they bundle have a corrupted 7z archive for aarch64 :(
