izzyisles[m]: me? I didn't do anything...
<marcan>
(well, I built the whole hypervisor/m1n1 framework lina is using but other than that)

marcan: And I had to fix your broken cross-page load/store emulation, and add a bunch of instructions, and fix a bunch of bugs... ^_^;;
<marcan>
hey, I never said it was perfect :p
<marcan>
dottedmag: VTubers work in mysterious ways... (and also tracked arm/hand animation isn't really practical for 2D avatars)
<marcan>
I play some games that use Live2D and even with pre-baked animations it's... rather janky and awkward
<marcan>
I can't imagine it ever working with live tracking
<lina>
Yeah, I did that collab with Low Layer Girls and they use 3D avatars with full hand tracking, but I've never seen it done for 2D...

marcan: Yeah, I could guess why it is so technically. The table looks like an awkward hack: displaying just the avatar up to the place where it is covered by table would be much less puzzling.
<dottedmag>
OTOH, today is 2nd June and the first stream was on 1st April, so it took me 2 months to notice...
<dottedmag>
sorry, wrong channel anyway.

<alyssa>
hey i didn't ask for it
<_jannau_>
at least they they embedded lina's tweet with the screenshot. but the split in the article betwen the "Asahi-Linux-Project" in the first half and Alyssa in the second half sounds strange
