hello again, as I'm swapping gpus lately a lot, I've spotted one annoying thing. If you wanna get tearfree experience (in playing videos) then you need to create a xorg config file, but this file forces usage of X driver. So if you gonna swap gpu the X server won't gonna start. it's real bummer

if there's some way around this, then I'm gonna appreciate message with how. if there's no some way around this, then I want to suggest some universal boot parameter or environmental variable

gawin: If you are swapping between intel/amd you can use the generic modesetting driver I think?

I have it "git revert @" locally, but I gues I cannot push that cahnge until I have the revert reviewed and linked. So do I need to submit the patch for review at dri-devel?

danvet, the gitlab CI should have caught that it failed to build for once. And there was checkpatch warnings that was not acceptable, but we cannot reject patches based on checkpatch warnings.
