<mripard>
bentiss: around?
<bentiss>
mripard: yes, waiting for your ping :)
<mripard>
sima, airlied: we're about to migrate to drm-tip, so there might be some disruption for a little bit
<mripard>
bentiss: shoot :)
<bentiss>
mripard: the server hook is set
<bentiss>
hopefully it'll work
<bentiss>
note that mesa now has a custom push mirror, not the server hook, so we might need to revisit it later
<mripard>
it looks like people are still pushing to the repo
<jani>
for read-only access to repos at gitlab, is using ssh or https preferred?
<jani>
I've often used ssh because it seems to have been generally more reliable across proxies in the corp environment
<jani>
(and then I tend to do something like 'git remote set-url --push drm-tip "no push"' in my development repo to safeguard against accidental pushes :)
<demarchi>
jani: as long as you have an account in the remote, you can use ssh, but that is not globally true. I think default for RO should be https since it's accessible with or without an account
<jani>
demarchi: of course; I really meant for people who do have an account like myself
<mripard>
iirc, generally speaking, https is better because it's something that can be cached
<demarchi>
if it's really RO, I leave it with the default... because I'm lazy :)
<mripard>
but I have no idea whether fd.o gitlab is cached :)
<jani>
mripard: probably only available in the paid version :p

is there a repo for all the "official" org.freedesktop. prefixed dbus interfaces, preferably as annotated XML files similar to wayland-protocols?

So I made an unlock script for modem manager; How do I contribute? I cannot seem to be able to make a fork on gitlab
<flow_>
In fact, I cannot seem to find ANY contributing guidelines
