Hi! I changed from text to graphical target in systemd and setup lightdm. However, lightdm waits for accountservice to start, and accountservice waits for polkit. Polkit fails to start.

The weird thing is that if I log in via ssh, then polkit starts and suddenly lightdm shows up in the screen.

I have tried to login via ssh with other users but it only happens with my own user. The only difference I would say is that I setup an encrypted home partition that can't be decrypted until I login (it decrypts with the login password).

Is somehow polkit related to my home partition? Is there any place where I can get more support? Thanks in advance.

vsyrjala: if the issue is "why gitlab doesn't show a link with the commit?" the answer is because you put it into a code block, and therefore gitlab doesn't parse it.

the intel repo is not in gitlab, so i can understand it not seeing that. but it must have seen it in drm-tip now since it auto-closed, but somehow it doesn't cause the correct link to appear

I mean, gitlab might have closed that issue, but we are clearly in a corner case. Usually the git repo is in the project where you close issues

i think it closes whenever the commit hits any of the repos. i think i've see it add the correct link in the past, but in that case it happend when the commit ended up in some random nouveau tree :/
