<Pan[m]> hihi, so, i've been trying to bring up the sensors using hexagonrpcd, i packaged he firmware and brough some nodes needed to talk with the sensors, but im getting this on dmesg, am i missing something? D:
<flamingradian[m]> oh it could be missing socinfo, which is needed on xiaomi-beryllium (sdm845) and xiaomi-davinci (sm7150)
<Pan[m]> flamingradian[m]: I think i have it, this Is my firmware https://gitlab.postmarketos.org/panpanpanpan/nabu-firmware/-/tree/main/hexagonfs?ref_type=heads
<flamingradian[m]> uh, the values don't seem real (hw_platform is 5 on sargo, but a string on nabu??)
<Pan[m]> Huh
<Pan[m]> Elish seems the same
<flamingradian[m]> there's a way to grab the values on mainline (not in readme currently): https://gitlab.com/sdm670-mainline/hexagonrpc/-/issues/2#note_2073829789
<flamingradian[m]> no idea how (or how well) elish supports sensors with that fw repo
<Pan[m]> I dont get that error tho, i get could not attach to fastRPC node, broken pipe
<flamingradian[m]> oh the dsp crashes immediately while running it,
<flamingradian[m]> must be something in kernel then
<Pan[m]> Got it, do you know where should i look at?
<flamingradian[m]> not sure, could be the fastrpc dts nodes

<krzk> folks, lumag narmstrong and others, we keep built audioreach topology FW inside the repo: https://github.com/linux-msm/audioreach-topology/tree/main/prebuilt/qcom
<krzk> This is just a compiled version, nothing fancy, mkdir build && cd build && cmake ../ && make
<krzk> These prebuilt files eventually go to linux firmware (and to /lib/firmware) and I wonder and ask myself: what is the point of keeping prebuilt binaries?
<krzk> It would be like keeping built DTBs inside Linux kernel. I propose to drop it, but maybe you see some benefit?
<Pan[m]> <flamingradian[m]> "oh the dsp crashes immediately..." <- Okay, aparently on elish only works when disabling the pogo pin keyboard, i guess it's the same here
