<
libv>
i doubt i ever even booted them

<
mripard>
what's your DT?
<
fcas>
is there some better place to post it?
<
mripard>
pastebin.com will work fine
<
mripard>
if you're using spidev, this should be set through the ioctl
<
fcas>
that part is working, its a switch and I only send some configuration (VLAN and so on) sometimes
<
fcas>
the analog to digital converter is the problem
<
mripard>
then what is the problem if it's working?
<
mripard>
I'm confused
<
fcas>
I'm still testing it, so I'm trying to read the in_voltage0_raw and it keeps getting the wrong value (expected: 2700 - got: 1370)
<
fcas>
and the ad converter asks for mode 3 on spi
<
fcas>
I added spi-cpol and cpha to DT and nothing changed
<
mripard>
you're using IIO then?
<
mripard>
why do you have a spidev compatible ?
<
mripard>
anyway, it's not really important
<
fcas>
I'm using both (spidev to control the switch, adc108s102 to read the ad converter)
<
mripard>
no I mean, you have
<
mripard>
compatible = "ti,adc108s102","ti,adc128s102","ti,ti-adc108s102","ti,ti_adc108s102","spidev";
<
mripard>
that's not for the switch
<
fcas>
that long compatible line is despair, sorry, wasnt working I tried to add spidev and would send the commands using it
<
mripard>
do you have a scope / analyzer to check whether it's actually doing something on the SPI bus?
<
fcas>
yes, I checked
<
fcas>
I just didnt check if the mode really didnt change (with the scope) I considered that the reading was still wrong
<
fcas>
I can see all signals there, just didnt really check if the mode was 0 or 3
