with the i2c problem so BananaPro didn't switch off: I noticed, that later 5.10 kernel throw a i2c oops but switches off.

jernej: I managed to compile gstreamer on the board itself (needed -j1 to not run out of memory), but now I'm wondering how to get the v4l2 codec working. Do you happen to have a gst-launch commandline handy, or some starting point I could use to search for examples?
