<stintel>
heh, I looked at my remote syslogs logs and my crashes aren't happening in mac80211
<stintel>
or at least not the ones that are in there
<mrkiko>
stintel: agreed, there is no evidence it's mac80211; this of course doesn't mean it can be mac80211, but the crashes I seen around so far seemed more like driver-related
<dhewg>
jow: pong. maybe? I haven't dug that deep, but this is exactly what what wpa_cli does
<mrkiko>
jow: how much effort would it require in your opinion to use firewall4 on a "stock" distibution?
<nbd>
stintel: thx. will look into it
<mrkiko>
and, on a system with discrete ethernet cards (e.g.: eth0, eth1, eth2 and so on)
<stintel>
nbd: thanks - I had some crashes too but seems like this could be unrelated to mac80211
<stintel>
in any case I have now serial console attached to one of my EAP615-Wall running mac80211-6.1-rc8 and screen running, so if anything turns up there I'll let you know
<Znevna>
I'll fire up one c6u maybe that one will crash
<stintel>
meanwhile it looks like I need to remove some changes I made to codel_should_drop (for debugging purposes)

<stintel>
I added some printks to show print whenever fq_codel switches from not dropping state to dropping state and vice versa
<stintel>
triggered crashes yesterday when starting to watch netflix
<stintel>
starts to make sense now lol
<stintel>
(my AVR/TV/.. are connected to a GS108T v3 which is powered via the EAP615-Wall passthrough port, so all that traffic goes from lan0 -> lan3 and ... hits fq_codel qdisc :)
<nbd>
stintel: forwarded the relevant info to johannes, maybe he has some ideas as well
<jow>
mrkiko: you only need to install libuci, libubox and ucode
<jow>
mrkiko: and utilize "option device" instead of "option network" for zone declarations
<mrkiko>
jow: thanks! Was planning to try it out. Should I receive some error messages somewhere or are there high chances it might misbehave without me noticing or noticing due to the fact it won't work?
<jow>
to avoid the need to netifd/ubus managed network interfaces
<jow>
*to have
<mrkiko>
jow: thanks a lot!!
<jow>
it will complain if something does not work
<mrkiko>
jow: thanks
<jow>

<SlimeyX>
is there a signature i can use to find ath cal data or roms in all files?
<robimarko>
Not really as it usually just starts with MAC-s
<robimarko>
Then the actual caldata is at offsets depedning on the number of radios
<Znevna>
I remember RB750Gr3 had voltage and temp readings under RouterOS, anyone knows what they use to get that?
<robimarko>
As far as I remember, they are actually using a touchsreen controller for that
