<tolszak> macc24: Does LIBGL_ALWAYS_SOFTWARE=1 equals mesa softpipe renderer? Cause I notice there is no issue with the magnification when using softpipe rendere on yocto Odroid N2+
<macc24> tolszak: yes, LIBGL_ALWAYS_SOFTWARE=1 forces mesa to use software rendering
<tolszak> macc24: So perhaps the bug is in Qt somewhere cause it doesn't happen when Qt uses softpipe and X11, it only happens with GBP+DRI+EGL. However I've written simple plain GBM+DRI+EGL opengl app that renders the same image full screen with different scale and it doesn't cause any issues

<robclark> does panfrost have a way to disable fp16 precision lowering? That would be a good way to rule out shader/qt bug (ie. for large enough textures, mediump doesn't have enough precision for texcoords)
<robmur01> looks like "PAN_MESA_DEBUG=nofp16" is still a thing

<alyssa> robclark: robmur01: yep, PAN_MESA_DEBUG=nofp16
<alyssa> and yes that gets a lot of use (also for shader-db comparisons since bifrost is sensitive to extra f2f conversions)
