Hi. Is there any news about support OpenGL ES 3.2 in panfrost? Somebody working on it?

q4a: It'll take time. You're recommended to just check for the extensions you need instead

<tomeu>
greenjustin: is panfrost running fine on your chromebook?
<greenjustin>
tomeu: It's running! There's something wrong with it though, I'm getting a lot of stutter and low FPS on webgl aquarium
<tomeu>
do you have anything in dmesg when that happens?
<greenjustin>
I think it might be my fault, I'm not sure I cleared out all the Mali DDK stuff correctly
<macc24>
oh yea that's what i forgot to test
<greenjustin>
no, nothing in dmesg iirc
<tomeu>
greenjustin: I think about:gpu (or similar) should tell you what is being used
<macc24>
greenjustin: what resolution are you running that webgl test at?
<greenjustin>
There is a problem with the frequency being stuck at 512MHz, but the stuttering is bad enough that I don't think it's related. Also I tried capping the kbase drivers at 500MHz and got better performance
<greenjustin>
ooh good idea, let me try that after my standup

<tomeu>
greenjustin: for smooth graphics, you need to pass --enable-gpu-rasterization, otherwise it's blacklisted and performance is much worse
