pretty sure I've asked it before, but panfrost/mali gpus, they work in the normal system ram, unlike say my amdgpu which has ram on the card?

I'm not sure that tiler makes as much sense when you have fast vram and a big power budget.. but don't see how that would change firmware situation one way or another

in fact 7A1000 mimics the behavior of RS780E+SB700 (because it's designed to workaround the discontinuation of this AMD combo
