q4a: I just tend to push fixes to bbrezillon/mesa/-/commits/panfrost/v10-wip
<bbrezillon>
first
<bbrezillon>
and then squash stuff into the main commit and force push to panfrost/mesa/-/commits/panfrost/v10-wip
<q4a>
Do you really need to squash stuff? It's easier to check changes per commit)
<bbrezillon>
sure, I can keep the history if you like
<bbrezillon>
but don't expect clean split/commit messages...
<bbrezillon>
because that's still a WIP branch
<q4a>
Thanks. History for mesa and kernel branches would be awesome
<q4a>
I know and understand that that it's WIP and I'm not going to post bugs or something.. but it's really interesting for me and useful for people, that checking progress
<bbrezillon>
well, I'll have to rebase/squash force push on a regular basis anyway, at least when submitting newer versions of the kernel driver.
<bbrezillon>
I really don't want to have to maintain branches with the full history along with ones where things are squashed
<q4a>
That's ok. Just don't squash changes when it's not necessary
