<Snickers> Hello Asahi devs. I'm trying to install Ubuntu to a 2024 Mac Mini M2 and just have a quick question that maybe someone here can help with. I really need version 20.04 on this device but do not see a way to select anything below 22.04. Does anyone have some pointers for how I might be able to accomplish this? Or am I just wasting time pursuing this?
<eslerm[m]> hi o/
<eslerm[m]> I believe 22.04 was the first release Tobias spinned, we've never made 20.04
<eslerm[m]> would a 20.04 vm work in your use case ?
<Snickers> No, I'm working on programming NVIDIA Jetson Orin boards and need it native :(
<Snickers> A lot of the scripts NVIDIA puts out there doesn't play nice in a VM
<eslerm[m]> We dropped jammy support because we'd need to backport a lot of dependencies to support upstream. 20.04 would be a challenge :(
