Debian folks: Try to compile xorg packages against new libuuwind and see if that resolves the issue.
<Glanzmann>
jannau: Thanks. Recompiling libunwind with the patch now.

@Glanzmann If you find the time, could you please provide the .deb to download if the patch works. I can test tomorrow afternoon. In BE at the moment. Thanks.
<Glanzmann>
Ry_Darcy: Will do the same.
<Ry_Darcy>
@Glanzmann Thanks.
<Glanzmann>
jannau: Thank you. It fixes the issue.

cannot find m1n1 and linux-image-asahi but an upgrade wants to upgrade linux-headers-6.1.0-rc8-asahi linux-image-6.1.0-rc8-asahi linux-libc-dev
<cy8aer>
but the mesa packages seem to be found at linux-headers-6.1.0-rc8-asahi linux-image-6.1.0-rc8-asahi linux-libc-dev
<cy8aer>
e.g. mesa-vulkan-drivers

correction: the mesa packages seem to be found at "900 https://thomas.glanzmann.de/asahi testing/main arm64 Packages" (copypasta error from me, sorry)

ok, I was able to "upgrade" the kernel packages offered cleanly via "apt upgrade". But "apt search m1n1" fails, same as "apt search linux-image-asahi"

<cy8aer>
ah m1n1 and linux-image-asahi are missing in Packages!
<cy8aer>
Glanzmann: you may recreate the Packages* files

cy8aer: Fixed. I build the m1n1 and linux-image-asahi package wrong as a result apt-ftparchive did not pick it up and I removed dpkg-scanpackages so they were no longer being picked up. Now everything should be fine.
<cy8aer>
Glanzmann: Yes, now it works. Great. Now the asahi stuff is transparent in debian.

<Glanzmann>
cy8aer: Yep. No way around it with so many packages deviating from upstream.

I had kernel pancis after reinstalling the stub. It appears to be a newer firmware. Anyway I took backups of my old firmware and recommend that to anyone who updates the stub.
