@Glanzmann: kernel 6.2.0-asahi seems to be missing config.gz in /proc. The config is available in /boot. I noticed this kernel does not have CONFIG_PREEMPT and is thus not a premptive kernel. Any reason to not have a premtive kernel?
<janrinze>
I upgraded using apt upgrade. There is definitely regression in the graphics department, Chromium is not rendering text on many areas..
<ayke_>
Those regressions are known and fixed already in the reference distro. I guess the kernel needs to be rebuilt based on the latest stable branch.
<ayke_>
I mean, the Chromium regression. I don't know about the other regressions.
<mps>
I feel somewhat strange because alpine on apple silicon doesn't have any bug report, so looks like I didn't worked on anything :)
<janrinze>
increasing zoom to 175% suddenly shows text!
<janrinze>
disabling GPU rasterization helps.
<jannau>
janrinze: sounds like package is build from the wrong mesa tag. there was a chrome text rendering regression in the initial release

Looks like sitting at the fridge door: Gnome, tweak tool set to standby when close lid. But it only switches to standby 1 in 5 times. Jounald shows that the lid close is detected. So now: is this a Gnome problem or a problem of the asahi kernel system?
<mps>
cy8aer: I guess gnome because in my case it always work and I'm not using gnome
<cy8aer>
yeah and the standby works fine (when pressing the power button). Gnome then...
