<demon_in_a_jar> hi all. where can I find the latest kernel config that is also used in the fedora remix distro?
<demon_in_a_jar> thanks! is the PKGBUILD one available in the asahi linux repo outdated?
<j`ey> the config doesn't change much really
<demon_in_a_jar> it does not seem to include the new energy aware scheduling flags among other options.
<demon_in_a_jar> for example CONFIG_UCLAMP_TASK is unset in the asahi-linux github repo
<demon_in_a_jar> I noticed by reading the latest blog post which was talking about the new battery fixes.
<j`ey> yes it hasnt been updated
<demon_in_a_jar> Thanks a lot. Is there any documentation about the fedora remix aources? Since these seem to not be synced with the github repos?
<demon_in_a_jar> Maybe this is standard fedora stuff, I dont really know about the process.
<j`ey> which github repos? the fedora stuff is maintained not on github
<demon_in_a_jar> I was looking at the NixOS support project which seemed to just fetch from the github repos and just wondering how I can better track updates.
<j`ey> the fedora asahi kernel takes patches from the asahi kernel and applies them onto the stock fedora kernel
<demon_in_a_jar> Okay great, and I am assuming any kernel config changes will be done directly from the fedora side from now on so will not be integrated in the PKGBUILDs repo?
<j`ey> yes PKGBUILDs is jsut for alarm
<j`ey> which will probably die / be taken over by someone else eventually
<j`ey> someone forked it here https://github.com/joske/PKGBUILDs
<demon_in_a_jar> pkay cool thanks a ton. What's the best way to keep track of the fedora changes?
<j`ey> the log of that repo
<demon_in_a_jar> I guess the git repo you linked?
<demon_in_a_jar> awesome, thank you!
<demon_in_a_jar> Is there a list of relevant asahi repos within the fedora infra?
<demon_in_a_jar> ah seems obvious in retrospect.
