hi :) recently i've upgraded asahi mesa to latest and allmost everything got blurry, especially text in firefox, media and text in telegram and... lot more stuff. has anyone encountered a similar problem? or maybe knows a solution? i am on gentoo and all packages are up to date
<chadmed>
did you update your kernel too and reboot?
<zerdox>
kernel was not upgraded as there was no new version
<zerdox>
do i need to recompile it anyways?
<zerdox>
and the problem appeared only after I reboot after the upgrade
<j`ey>
zerdox: what DE/WM?
<mps>
zerdox: for me simply upgrade mesa-asahi and restart xorg was enough
<zerdox>
j`ey hyprland
<j`ey>
zerdox: hyprland got a fix in git for this
<j`ey>
zerdox: see the recent commit about precision
<chadmed>
he cant know that if he doesnt have and wont get the hardware to test it. pretty sure alyssa said it's not. it also doesnt happen in any other de/wm
<chadmed>
but just in case, when did you update
<chadmed>
i merged a commit from janneg earlier today that bumped mesa again. try that one
<zerdox>
sure i'll try new mesa. my hyprland is latest that was realeased yet, a few weeks ago
