<amarioguy>
actually had one more question, when i try to use libfdt (don't have the open firmware abstractions in my firmware the way that linux/u-boot do), seems like using aliases (example being /die0/pinctrl_ap for example, trying to use the die0 alias to refer to the first die) don't work whatsoever (fdt_path_offset returns that the paths with aliases are not found, /soc/aic doesn't work either
<amarioguy>
so it's not just peripherals that are on multiple dies)
<sven>
fdt_get_alias
<amarioguy>
ah didn't notice that one, thanks
<jannau>
fdt_path_offset("dcp") without leading '/' will find what "/aliases/dcp" resolves to
<jannau>
the linux device tree omits 'die0' for things on the first die (for compatibility with the max)
<jannau>
devices are in "/soc@200000000/ and "/soc@2200000000/" on Ultra
