Is there no way to carry out a search in gitlab: comment authored by me, made in MR 640, containing words: color, matrix, next ?
<pq>
this MR has 756 comments...
<emersion>
click "expand all threads", wait for your computer to melt down, then Ctrl+F
<pq>
going to try "expand all thread" and searching in browser, but...
<pq>
actually, searching in browser does not even work. It's searching for a single phrase, not for a collection of words.
<daniels>
I typed 'color matrix next' into the search bar at the very top (which you get with '/'), then selected 'search in weston'
<daniels>
I can't give you in-MRs-by-this-author conditions, but this does only return like 5 results so does solve your problem :P

<pq>
I don't know the best search words, I have to try several combinations, so limiting the results to specific author and MR would help immensely
<daniels>
fair enough; that's the best I've got
<daniels>
but that does at least give you comment-by-comment links, whereas using the search box within the MR page context will only give you the MR itself, even though it has more conditions
<pq>
yeah
<pq>
better search seems to be a premium feature
<daniels>
indeed

<benzea>
daniels: hey, can you help with changing upower.freedesktop.org to point to gitlab pages instead of a statically served http?
progandy has joined #freedesktop
<bentiss>
benzea: should be OK to do now (we had an issue last week)
<bentiss>
benzea: which gitlab pages it should point at?
<bentiss>
I just need to transfer the domain from this project to the other
<bentiss>
in gitlab
<benzea>
is the goal to have all the websites in one place? fprint.freedesktop.org is also in the libfprint namespace, not the website one
<bentiss>
the main upower project doesn't have any pages settings AFAICT
<benzea>
ohh, wait
<benzea>
haha, yeah, upower/upower shouldn't have any pages
<bentiss>
yep
<benzea>
maybe I accidentally added it to the wrong repo?
<bentiss>
benzea: maybe. but if you did that a while ago, that was a good thing to do, because you reserved the domain so anybody else could not claim it on gitlab (the DNS config would not be done, but still would be a little bit tough to handle)
<benzea>
if I did it, then it was last friday :-)
<bentiss>
heh, OK :)

great, looking good, thanks!
<bentiss>
the only missing stuff is the gitlab pages verification code, not sure how we get it
<benzea>
verification code?
<bentiss>
some dns magic that needs to be set up so everybody thinks it's valid
