I think we should switch to daily logrotations and dateext and just keep a bit longer as a stopgap measure, but I'd really like to understand what's up.

it might also be that we should install fail2ban and abn those that seem to try to use us for relaying.

I'm fine with all of those options, but have some other things I need to really finish off today, and then have some fun with a sledgehammer and a saw so I can have a working fridge again
