<emersion>
hm, probably too sr.ht-specific now that i think about it
<mupuf>
emersion: probably, yeah :) but also, there is value in keeping patchwork as it allows downloading patches, view series' state, ...
<mupuf>
but yeah, sourcehut is probably the best place for mailing list people
<DragoonAethis>
Can't speak for dri-devel et al for how long they're gonna stay in there, there's probably no nice way to switch everyone
<DragoonAethis>
But we have an internal Patchwork instance and workflow around it that could use revamping
<DragoonAethis>
And some folks on the dev side that want it gone too
<DragoonAethis>
Sooooo, I'll try, one step at a time
<DragoonAethis>
But as I said, some maintenance wouldn't hurt either while we're moving off of it
<mupuf>
good luck, dude! Especially dealing with Intel's IT if you decide to host a new service :D
<mupuf>
yeah, that was my stance too: since I was adding code, better also update the deps to reduce security issues
<mupuf>
and also, with the bridge, you can move CI from jenkins to GitLab
* mupuf
has some machines at home he would like to run IGT on
<DragoonAethis>
I'm not going to complain too much about Jenkins, especially that all these flows are kind of a mess today and just moving to GitLab isn't so simple
<DragoonAethis>
...mostly due to IT, but...
<DragoonAethis>
And we'd have to maintain separate internal GitHub/external GitLab flows anyways since internal dev wouldn't happen on fd.o GitLab, so Jenkins isn't the worst option at the end of the day
<DragoonAethis>
emersion: It doesn't look like that service actually does anything yet, it's just groundwork for now
<emersion>
it's not ready yet, indeed
<emersion>
(there's a python one which actually is live, and this is the rewrite)
