is there a way to disable the "show similar issues" thing from gitlab bug report page. all it really does is cause a lot of unrelated noise in most bugs

maybe we need to start adding somd kind of magic crap to our debug messages to make it not identify things as similar unless it happens to be exactly the same model machine...

looks like /clone just supports "clone with no comment" and "clone with all comments". i'd need a "clone with selected comments"

hmm, MRs at least let you break selected threads out to new issues - might be reasonably easy as an upstream feature request to extend that to threads in issues too
