14:13 <__tim> you can "probably" remove the workflow bits, they kind of control what pipelines are created when (branch commit, MR, etc.), or check the ci templates documentation, but they probably don't hurt either

14:15 <__tim> there are two stages: (1) the image build (if an image with the specified TAG doesn't exist yet, it will rebuild it and install the packages you specified, and then store the image in the registry; if an image already exists, it will just skip that step and re-use the existing one); (2) the actual CI job that (re-)uses the previously-built image
