<jenneron[m]>
i switched pmOS to using lts kernels for chrome os devices
<jenneron[m]>
except mt8173 where i still use stable
<jenneron[m]>
don't want to miss when it gets GPU support
<hexdump0815>
yes i think this is the best approach - i just decided to build some more recent kernels to see if things still compile and work well
<hexdump0815>
otherwise bisecting could get very painful if it goes over 6 kernel releases :)
<hexdump0815>
i was thinking about maybe using v6.4 for my next round of images, but it seems like zswap is completely broken with anything above v6.1
<hexdump0815>
an i consider zswap something essential on those low ram devices - i reported it to the maintainers, but did not get any response yet, lets see and hope that v6.5 will get better
<jenneron[m]>
<hexdump0815> "otherwise bisecting could get..." <- i wouldn't be so sure about it, when you bisect first time you get to 3 releases, second time you get to 1.5
<jenneron[m]>
roughly saying
<jenneron[m]>
but when there are several issues with the same component at the same time..
<jenneron[m]>
hexdump0815: i think we have zram enabled by default
<jenneron[m]>
in pmOS
<jenneron[m]>
actually i'm quite lucky to have 8gb lazor
