<hexdump0815> jenneron[m]: you might be right wrt bisecting, but if patches on top of the tree are involved it can get quity complicated as the patches have to be adjusted for the different versions sometimes - i know that from experience :)
<hexdump0815> yes with 8gb zram/zswap does not play a big role, with 4gb having zswap around makes quite a difference
<hexdump0815> due to it there is more memory available without any real paging to disk (usually less than 100mb) and if more memory will be required still zswap will swap more to disk, but as compressed pages, i.e. less io and less written to emmc
